About
I completed my PhD in biochemistry (enzymology/protein chemistry) at The University of Melbourne and at the then Food Science Australia (now CSIRO Food and Nutritional Sciences). Following 2¼ years as a postdoc in physical chemistry in the laboratory of Professor Stefan Kasapis (Food Chemistry Research Group), I am presently a Research Officer in Professor Caroline Chan's research group in the School of Business IT and Logistics. My main areas of research interest are understanding consumer preferences/trends in food and nutrition and the application of information systems (e.g. food composition databases) in the food industry.
