About
Dr Inger Mewburn works as a Research Fellow in the School of Graduate Research at RMIT University and edits the Thesis Whisperer blog (www.thethesiswhisperer.wordpress.com)
Inger holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) (1997), Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (2001), a Post Graduate Certificate in Spatial Information Architecture (2003), and a Masters of Architecture by research from RMIT (2005). And a PhD in the Architecture, Building and Planning faculty at the University of Melbourne.
During her time in professional architectural practice, Inger worked at Styant-Browne Architects, Ashton Raggatt McDougall, Lyons and Mirvac P/L. Her interactive digital art work has appeared in magazines and exhibitions around the world including Melbourne, the UK, France, Greece, Austria, China and the USA.
Inger has taught architectural design, theory, communications and research methods since 1997. Currently she works as a Research Fellow in the Graduate Research Office at RMIT University, where she conducts research on research student experience and runs professional development courses for graduate students and supervisors.
